Joe hand builds all his bodies using authentic templates, or one of your choosing. The various woods used, (if available), are Southern Yellow Pine, American Black Walnut, Poplar, Ash, Maple (Red or Sugar), Mahogany, and Alder.

TELECASTER BODIES

Here are their typical details..
These bodies will accept U.S.A. Vintage Fender parts or compatible.
All the pickup, control cavity, and neck routs are done.
The 7/8" hole for the input jack and the flat area are there as well.
The 4 neck attachment holes are also been pre-drilled,
and the hole spacings measure 2" x 1-1/2", and fit a standard Fender neckplate.
The body thick ness is approx 1-3/4".

There aren't any string through holes on the back (unless you custom order it that way), with the exception of the neck mounting holes.
There are no contours on the front or back.
Also there aren't any pickguard holes, bridge mounting holes, or Strap lock holes.
There is the standard bridge ground wire hole that is drilled on an angle that feeds into the bridge pickup cavity, which is covered by the bridge itself once installed.

It's like having a Standard U.S.A. Telecaster, ready for you to customize.

These bodies would be a great candidates for a Bigsby tremolo bridge,
or you can mount a multitude of Tele bridges as it's wide open for customizing.

The neck pocket dimensions are approx 3"long x 2-3/16"wide at the base of the body x 5/8" deep.
These bodies should accept any U.S.A. Fender, or any Licenced Fender Telecaster replacement neck that is a 25 1/2" scale.

The total body weight is usually under 5 lbs, however varies due to wood species.

These will make beautiful guitars that you'll love.
